What was your inspiration for pursuing a job in STEM?
“I've always been naturally curious about technology and enjoyed understanding how computers work. I realized early on that I was technically savvy and loved solving problems, which made pursuing a career in technology feel like a natural fit. That curiosity, combined with my ability to adapt quickly as technology continues to evolve, has kept me excited about learning and growing throughout my career.”
What was your favorite part of the Accelerate Success program while attending Le Moyne College?
“My favorite part of Accelerate Success was hearing from successful women about their career journeys. Learning how they navigated challenges, embraced new opportunities, and pivoted throughout their careers gave me valuable perspective. I also appreciated the focus on business etiquette and professional development, which helped me feel more confident and prepared as I entered the workforce.”
How did Accelerate Success help you prepare for your career?
“The Accelerate Success program gave me much more than career preparation. It gave me confidence during a transition that can feel uncertain. It helped me build meaningful connections, provided guidance as I navigated the shift from college to my career, and introduced me to a network of mentors and peers I can still turn to for advice and support years later. Knowing I have that community has been invaluable throughout my professional journey.”

“Network and build genuine relationships. Take advantage of internships to discover what you enjoy, stay curious, and ask questions. Don't let imposter syndrome hold you back. No one expects you to know everything, and asking thoughtful questions is one of the fastest ways to grow.”
