Accelerate Success, as its fundamental function, empowers institutions to develop programs. These universities and colleges create their own unique branding and identity, with Accelerate Success working as the facilitator of materials and organizational needs. The result is a highly personalized product for students that feels less like an outside vendor, and more like an in-house collaborative.

Le Moyne College: Stempower

Fall 2019-Present

Le Moyne College is the home of the pilot Accelerate Success program re-branded as “Stempower” for unique branding for the college. In partnership with Terri Mitchell, the program launched successfully in 2019 and continues to run to this day.

Le Moyne STEM undergraduate students can join one of three cohort options. 1: Confidence & Community 2: Find Your Career Path 3: Mentoring Opportunities (Juniors & Seniors). For the best outcomes, participants will take part in the program all four years of their undergrad experience.

Measurable Outcomes

  • Participation of up to 93 women in an academic year

  • STEM Major Retention 96% compared to national average of 48%

  • Sense of Belonging in STEM Major: 25% improvement after preliminary surveying

  • Confidence for Success in a STEM Career: 12%  improvement after preliminary surveying

Elon University: Elon Women in STEM

Fall 2022-Spring 2024

Accelerate Success partnered with Elon University to create “Elon Women in STEM” as the personalized brand for their program.

Measurable Outcomes

  • Participation of up to 90 women in an academic year

  • STEM Major Retention 95% compared to national average of 48%

  • Sense of Belonging in STEM Major: 24% improvement after preliminary surveying
