Accelerate Success, as its fundamental function, empowers institutions to develop programs. These universities and colleges create their own unique branding and identity, with Accelerate Success working as the facilitator of materials and organizational needs. The result is a highly personalized product for students that feels less like an outside vendor, and more like an in-house collaborative.
Le Moyne College: Stempower
Fall 2019-Present
Le Moyne College is the home of the pilot Accelerate Success program re-branded as “Stempower” for unique branding for the college. In partnership with Terri Mitchell, the program launched successfully in 2019 and continues to run to this day.
Le Moyne STEM undergraduate students can join one of three cohort options. 1: Confidence & Community 2: Find Your Career Path 3: Mentoring Opportunities (Juniors & Seniors). For the best outcomes, participants will take part in the program all four years of their undergrad experience.

Elon University: Elon Women in STEM
Fall 2022-Spring 2024
Accelerate Success partnered with Elon University to create “Elon Women in STEM”, a customized program focused on STEM disciplines in which women remain significantly underrepresented: Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics/Statistics. The partnership also aligned well with Elon’s strong campus-wide emphasis on mentoring, a core component of the Accelerate Success model.
To complement the program’s focus on these disciplines, Elon Women in STEM supported multiple student teams in attending UNC’s Pearl Hacks hackathon in both years of the program. The experience gave participants an opportunity to apply and strengthen their technical skills, build confidence, and deepen their sense of belonging in STEM. Their success was also tangible: Elon Women in STEM teams earned awards at Pearl Hacks in both years they participated.
