What was your inspiration for pursuing a job in STEM?
“I was inspired to pursue cybersecurity because I enjoy solving complex problems and understanding how technology works. Learning about the growing cyber threat landscape showed me how important it is to protect organizations and the people who rely on them. I was drawn to the field's constant evolution and opportunities for continuous learning.”
What was your favorite part of the Accelerate Success program while attending Le Moyne College?
“My favorite part of Accelerate Success has been participating in the panels, both as an attendee and as a panel member. Hearing the experiences and advice of women in STEM was inspiring and helped me learn about different career paths. Being a panelist also allowed me to share my own experiences and connect with other students.”
How did Accelerate Success help you prepare for your career?
“The Accelerate Success program helped me feel more prepared to start my career by connecting me with inspiring women in STEM who shared their experiences and advice. It also gave me the chance to network with professionals and other students, which helped me build connections and learn more about different career paths. Overall, the program boosted my confidence and gave me a better understanding of what to expect as I begin my career.”

“Be confident in your abilities, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Take advantage of opportunities to network, find mentors, and build relationships with others in your field. Your perspective is valuable, and there is a place for you in STEM.”
