What was your inspiration for pursuing a job in STEM?
“My inspiration comes from wanting to connect science and technology with real-world impact. Studying physics taught me how to approach complex problems analytically, while my experiences in business and industry showed me the importance of leadership and strategy. Engineering management allows me to combine these strengths to turn innovative ideas into meaningful solutions.”
What was your favorite part of the Accelerate Success program while attending Le Moyne College?
“My favorite part was the mentorship. Having someone to provide guidance, share their experiences, and offer a different perspective was incredibly valuable. It gave me the opportunity to ask questions, reflect on my goals, and gain advice that helped me become more confident in navigating my academic and professional journey.”

“The Accelerate Success program helped me better understand my strengths, interests, and long-term career goals. Through professional development, mentorship, and exposure to different career paths, I learned how to translate my academic and leadership experiences into skills that employers value. Most importantly, the program encouraged me to think beyond my undergraduate degree and explore opportunities that combine my background in physics with business, technology, and leadership, ultimately helping prepare me for graduate school and my future career.”

“Be confident in what you bring to the table, even when you are in a room where few people look like you. Ask questions, seek out mentors, and never be afraid to take opportunities outside your comfort zone. STEM can open countless doors, so stay curious and create your own path.”
