What was your inspiration for pursuing a job in STEM?
“The field of biotechnology is the perfect blend of innovative thinking, combined with a scientific outlook. I enjoy that no two days look exactly the same, and that I can bring a fresh perspective to technical conversations!”
What was your favorite part of the Accelerate Success program while attending Le Moyne College?
“My favorite part was the tours and dinners that we went on! I loved being exposed to new places of employment and then being able to openly chat about our experiences at them over dinner. It is always nice to have an outlet like that.”
How did Accelerate Success help you prepare for your career?
“Accelerate Success was a cornerstone in me becoming a powerful woman looking to begin my career. It was wonderful to always have a community to lean back on and have access to a plethora of women that came before me and walked in my shoes. I would not have made it into the field I am today, in a position that I love, if I was not a part of this wonderful community.”

“Build the best support system you can. It may seem like everyone around you is doing the best they can and succeeding all alone, but everyone has a support system holding them up. Don’t slip through the cracks. Find trustworthy people to lean on.”
